How it works

One wallet, one city, no real money

Every game in Anubis City is played with debens, our in-game coins named after the ancient Egyptian measure of value. You receive debens for free when you arrive, and Ra’s Boat brings more. Debens cannot be cashed out or exchanged for money — these are games for fun and company.

  • Fair dealing. Cards are shuffled on the server with a cryptographically secure random generator, and your hole cards are sent to you alone.
  • AI is always marked. Computer opponents fill empty seats and carry an “AI” mark on their nameplate.
  • One city. You walk from game to game across the square, and the people around you can see where you go and join you.

Questions about the games

Which game should I start with?

Texas Hold’em in the Temple of Fortune — it is open now. If poker is new to you, read the hand rankings and the rules first; it takes about ten minutes.

When will the slot open?

Treasures of Horus is the next game we are building. Follow the news to hear about it first.

Do I need separate debens for each game?

No. One purse of debens works everywhere in the city.
