The city on the Nile
A square paved in sandstone, seven grand buildings, a canal with bridges and a quay where boats come and go. Here is your guide to Anubis City.
Everything in one view

The city lies on a terrace above the Nile. Along the river runs the quay with lanterns and moored boats; below it opens the great square with the fountain, flanked by obelisks and date palms. The seven buildings stand around the square, and at its front edge a retaining wall drops down to the harbour.
The square and Anubis the Guardian
In the middle of the square stands the fountain: a square basin edged with marble and lapis, with four lotus torches burning at its corners. Above the water rises Anubis the Guardian — the jackal-headed god in mid-stride, his was-sceptre before him and an ankh in his hand. A cascade spills from his pedestal into the basin, and his name glows in gold on a lapis plaque.
You can walk all the way around him. When your character steps behind the statue, it turns see-through so you never lose sight of yourself.

Seven buildings
- Temple of Fortune — red pillars, a POKER sign and three tables of Texas Hold’em. Open now.
- Slots — a tower with three spinning 7s, a lever with a red ball and a sun disc on top. Home of Treasures of Horus, coming soon.
- Roulette — a rotunda with a lapis dome; the wheel on its facade really spins.
- Blackjack — a hall of green marble with a fan of cards on the roof and a board that reads 21.
- Bingo — a festive hall with lettered balls and a golden dome.
- The Club — an amethyst facade, a neon sign and silhouettes dancing behind the windows.
- Apartments — a house with balconies, flowers and a roof garden: future homes of the residents.
Only the Temple of Fortune is open so far. The other doors glow in the evening light and say “opening soon”.
The Nile, the quay and Ra’s Boat
Beyond the quay, the Nile shimmers with a path of sunlight, and pyramids stand on the far bank against a violet sky. Boats drift past, and Ra’s Boat ties up at the pier — when it is there, a golden button at the top of the screen lets you collect free gold.
At the end of the quay stands the gate of the old Nile Pier. It is locked for now: a note on the bar says it opens only for residents of the highest level.

The wall, the waterfalls and the harbour
The square ends in a balustrade with obelisk posts, and below it the retaining wall drops to the harbour. Seven stone jackal heads spout waterfalls into the water, and between them the city’s name is carved into the sandstone again and again: ANUBIS CITY.
Getting around
- Click or tap anywhere on the ground and your character walks there along the shortest path.

- The map in the menu (Esc) shows where you are; click any building on it to head straight there.
A city that is never empty
Twenty-four AI residents stroll the streets day and night, stop to look at the fountain and answer when you greet them. They are always marked “AI”. The more real people come to the city, the louder the murmur of the crowd on the square becomes.
