Your character
Every resident of the city is drawn by our own engine — from a 3D skeleton straight into pixels. Choose your look and step out onto the square.

Seen from every angle
Most pixel games draw one side and mirror it. Our residents are built from a 3D skeleton with volumes and lit from the front and above, just like the city, so they look right from the front, the back and both sides.
Walking, waving, dancing
Residents walk in eight frames, sit on stools at the poker table, wave hello and know two dances. Press the emote buttons under the game to show off.
Twice as many pixels
Characters are drawn at twice the pixel density of the city: you can see irises, eyebrows, lips and the shine on earrings. On slower devices you can switch to standard detail in the settings.
Before release we checked all 768 combinations of body, hairstyle, outfit, jewellery and face for holes in the silhouette and stray pixels.
